NATO Doubles its Donations in Hobyo.
the NATO troops who are based at the shores of Somalia coastline fighting piracy have been donating medicine to the residents who leave along towns in Somalia coastline. This was a campaign to improve the relationship between the troops and the residents of the towns.
The foreign troops based at Hobyo in the region of Mudug have donated medicine to curb the existing diseases among them small box, cholera and other diseases.
The officials of the NATO troops based at the region told the media that they were increasing their efforts to fight such diseases at the region because proper medication was not received in time to help the community leaving in the area.
Some of the residents who spoke to the media said that the exercise should be increased to help them and they welcomed the donations. They said that they will be working with the troops and inform them of any movements of piracy at the region.
However residents along the other towns in Mudug informed the media that the main aim of the NATO troops was establishing the whereabouts of foreign workers kidnapped at the region.
